Global Macro Data Points of Interest
The first area of data will be about shipping, which is the age old way of tracking real economic growth or shall we say demand. Today, just as it was on sailing vessels in the different seas of the world, it is always nice to now what the real rate to ship something is, for someone else.
You can learn a lot from what others are willing to pay to do something.

The next set of data I am going to be focusing on is the long term price of a commodity. I have started to put together a database of historical closing prices. I am going to post them here by type of metal.
