My name is Jack H. Barnes and this is my blog about the Global Macro world we live in.  This blog will focus its content on the financial world that we live in and how interconnected the world has become.

I will be adding some videos here in the near future.  Until then, here is a short bio about me.

Bio

I started my career at Franklin Templeton in 1997, working with the company in its fund-information department – just as the Asian contagion infected the Asian tiger countries. I launched my RIA shop in 2003 just as the second Gulf War was breaking out.

In early 2006, after logging a one-year return of nearly 83%, Forbes named named me the top stock picker in its “Best of the Web” competition. My two audited hedge funds generated double-digit positive returns in 2008. I retired to the beach in 2009 – where my wife was the city administrator for 2 years. Today, we live in the Mt. Hood area of Oregon.

I have written the “Buy, Sell or Hold” series at Money Morning since August 2010 until March 2012.

Today, I am the Founder of JHB Capital LLC, a company in the process of being registered as an Independent Investment Adviser.  I look forward to managing funds again.
